About CoCoMEng Lab

CoCoMEng Lab, short for Composites and Computational Materials Engineering Lab, is a research community at Institut Teknologi Bandung that brings together students and researchers working under the supervision of Dr. Ditho Ardiansyah Pulungan. The lab focuses on understanding how advanced materials deform, degrade, and fail across different length scales, from electronic and atomistic mechanisms to microstructural features and engineering-scale material response.

Although rooted in composites and computational modeling, CoCoMEng Lab adopts a broader materials engineering approach. Our research integrates experiments, material characterization, manufacturing-process understanding, multiscale modeling, and engineering analysis to develop deeper insight into material behavior and failure.
