Welcome to CoCoMEng Lab. at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB)
CoCoMEng Lab focuses on advanced materials engineering and material failure modeling across multiple length scales. We study how materials are processed, how their internal features evolve, and how they deform, degrade, and fail under mechanical, thermal, chemical, and environmental loading conditions.
Our approach combines experiments, material characterization, manufacturing-process understanding, multiscale modeling, and engineering assessment. We integrate continuum mechanics, micromechanics, molecular dynamics, ReaxFF, DFT, and finite element analysis to connect lower-scale failure mechanisms with practical material performance.
